QIBT offers a university foundation program, which provides a bridge between secondary school and undergraduate studies. The Certificate IV in University Foundation Studies (the Griffith University foundation program) prepares you for entry to university level programs in Commerce, Design, Information Technology, Hotel Management, Engineering, Health, Science, Arts and Education fields. Successful completion of the program guarantees you entry to the QIBT Diploma programs or Griffith University degree programs.*
Duration
2 semesters full-time (8 months) or 3 semesters full-time (12 months)
* Entry to Griffith University Bachelor degree program requires you to have achieved a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 4.5 in the Certificate IV. For some high demand programs, a higher GPA may be required.
Entry Requirements
Academic Requirement
Entry into the Certificate IV program generally requires the successful completion of Year 11 or equivalent. Country specific academic requirements may be viewed on the QIBT website.
English Language Requirement
- IELTS 5.0 (or equivalent) with no sub-score below 4.5.
- International students who do not meet the English language requirements may be eligible for the Mixed English and Academic Program (MEAP) or undertake intensive English language training at Griffith University English Language Institute (GELI).
