QIBT is a higher education provider located on Griffith University's Mt Gravatt campus in Brisbane. QIBT has been working in partnership with Griffith University for over ten years and has helped over 6,000 students go on to study at University in Australia.

QIBT offers university-level Diploma programs in the areas of Biosciences, Commerce, Criminology & Criminal Justice, Engineering, Graphic Design, Hotel Management and Information Technology. QIBT also delivers Griffith University’s Foundation and Postgraduate Qualifying Program’s.

QIBT programs are delivered and moderated by some of Griffith University’s finest lecturers. While studying at QIBT, you are guaranteed that the highest standards of teaching will be maintained at all times.

Smaller classes

Lectures contain an average of only forty students and are complimented by small group tutorials and workshops. In keeping with our supportive approach, QIBT provides more teaching hours per course. Instead of the traditional three-hour teaching block, QIBT classes are four-hour sessions. This extra academic contact allows you to fully develop your knowledge and understanding of each course.

QIBT is a member of the Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET), which is the national body for private vocational and higher education providers in Australia.

We report regularly to, and are audited by, government departments to ensure that QIBT complies with all Australian government legislation and guidelines at both state and federal levels.

To ensure that QIBT provides quality education and services to international students, QIBT is registered as a Higher Education Provider and we deliver programs in compliance with the Commonwealth Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act. Our institution and programs are also registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).

Flexibility

Whether your results are released in December or August, there is an intake for you. QIBT provides the flexibility of three intakes a year in:

June
October

If the semester suits, you may be able to fast-track ahead of other students enrolling in the traditional program (for example, if you enrol in October you could enter second year university by July the following year).
QIBT also provides part-time study options for Australian students.

One visa for all your studies

For international students, QIBT can provide you with one visa for the entire duration of your studies. This includes your English language tuition (if required), QIBT program and Griffith University program.
